Auditions After the deadline, selected applicants will immediately be informed of the two available audition dates (an application with recordings is possible in exceptional cases):

1_Audition
May 26th, 2009, in Leverkusen, Germany, at the Bayer Erholungshaus
Application Deadline: May 19th, 2009

2_Audition
June 28th 2009, in Witten, Germany, at the University Witten/Herdecke
Application Deadline: June 22nd, 2009

Audition Repertoire

  • Candidates should prepare a solo piece of their own choice.
  • The auditon jury may ask to perform a movement of a chamber music piece together with the jury members »prima vista«.
  • Tuning standard: 415 Hertz for strings and winds.
  • The accademia l'arte del mondo will provide a piano accompanist for the audition
